Oaxaca, Mexico (no field notes)
Isabelle adventures through the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. Hear coyotes in the Sierra Juárez Mountains, wander through indigenous craft villages, taste authentic Mexican mole, tacos, and tamales... stumble upon El Árbol del Tule (one of the largest trees in the word!), and, of course, get lost in the streets of Oaxaca City as Día de Muertos, also called the Day of the Dead, is celebrated. ✨✨🇲🇽🇲🇽 You’ll also pay a visit to Monte Alban, the ruins of an ancient capital city!!
This colorful, friendly, authentic, and truly special part of the world was the perfect story for this month, and I hope you love it as much as I do!! There were SO many amazing things to say about Oaxaca, I had to write EXTRA small.
