In this wintry tale, follow Isabelle as she arrives in Longyearbyen, the northernmost inhabited town in the world. She soon learns that because it’s so close to the North Pole, during the winter, the sun never rises… It’s dark and cold for 4 months straight. At first, she’s worried the lack of light might ruin her adventure… but she soon learns the ways of the locals and comes to enjoy the “Polar Night,” as they call it.
In this festive journey, Isabelle partakes in a traditional trek to “Santa’s Mailbox,” meets a curious reindeer, explores the snowy terrain by dogsled, drinks hot cocoa from the northernmost chocolatier in the world, sees the mystical northern lights, and even spots a polar bear!
